St. Paddy’s Day 5K Run & Walk

Location: Lincoln Park, Chicago
Marathon Attendance: Capped at 5,000

Components:

• 5K run & walk and 8K run along Chicago’s lakefront
• Kids’ Dash (aka “Leprechaun Leap”)
• Costume contest
• Post-race party at local bar & grill
• Both the 5K and 8K runs are competitive timed

Overview:

You’d be hard-pressed to find a major U.S. city more closely associated with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations than Chicago. And the 27h annual St. Paddy’s Run/Walk and Kids’ 1K—a spring favorite among Chicago’s running community.

Joining the 5K competitive-timed run and walk is the timed 8K run that is guaranteed to add excitement for runners! We will be jump starting the running season with the first 8K of 2019.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! We are celebrating with a festival flair to Chicago’s only St. Paddy’s Run. Live music both before and after the runs will be a great way to wrap up your St Patrick’s Weekend.

As if all of this is not enough, all runners get a complementary drink after the race.
