Overview:

It’s no exaggeration when we say there’s something for everyone at the Salt Lake City Marathon which returns for its 21st spectacular year on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

In a city known as a mecca for outdoor recreation lovers (and host of the 2002 Winter Olympics), this jam-packed sporting event features seven events in all: full and half marathons, a 26-mile Bike Tour through the most scenic parts of Salt Lake Valley, a 10K and 5K run and a 1K Kids Run and  activities.

The Salt Lake City Marathon and Half Marathon are certified and sanctioned through USATF, and the Marathon is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.

Spring blossoms and scenic snowcapped mountains are backdrop at this acclaimed annual gathering that attracts more that 10,000 sports enthusiasts (plus as many spectators). The beautiful course winds through some of Salt Lake’s most beautiful neighborhoods; passing by elegant estates, through city streets and magnificent bridges and at the base of gentle foothills. The Finish Line captures all the emotion and excitement that this kind of human achievement warrants-offering medals, awards, photos, food and drink, and live music.

Lifestyle Expo Overview

On  Friday, the day before, a huge “Quality of Life” sports/fitness expo takes place and is required attendance for participants to pick up their race packets. More than 25,000 Expo visitors shop and learn about and shop the latest gear and related tech devices; provided by at least 60 vendors and sponsors.

Sponsorship Opportunity

Target active, health conscious, educated, upscale young professionals via  Salt Lake City’s premier running/cycling and skating event and it’s Lifestyle Expo on the day before.

Sponsorship opportunities include event component naming rights, inclusion in e-blast marketing campaign, social media, event website, and event collateral including t-shirts. On-site exposure includes booths at the both the Lifestyle Expo and the Finish Line, sampling, signage and announcer mentions.
