Wood Dale Prairie Fest

Beginning on August 9th, and continuing through August 11th, more than 20,000 people will gather in one of Wood Dale's community parks to celebrate the 11th annual Wood Dale Summer Fest.

Situated in DuPage County, one of the nation's richest counties, Wood Dale Summer Fest boasts a wide variety of food choices, a festive mix of regional and national music acts, a fireworks show, carnival, pet parade and much more! This three-day festival is the flagship event of this community- and the surrounding area. It's a true celebration of summer- and offers something for every member of the family- from toddlers to seniors.

Wood Dale, incorporated in 1928, is surrounded by golf courses and lush forest preserves- and yet is well situated between the City of Chicago and O'Hare International Airport. The tradition of community spirit, long a hallmark of this town, is evidenced by the community's whole-hearted support of the event.
