In a city that loves its food as much as it loves its music and art, Taste of St Louis is the premier event. The largest consumer event in Missouri- and one of the largest outdoor events in the Midwest draws more than 250,000 attendees over three days in late September. Unlike other big-city food festivals, Taste of St Louis stays completely true to its purpose- to celebrate and showcase the very best that area top chefs and finest restaurants, artists and musicians have to offer.

More than 45 of St Louis's top restaurants set up their kitchens in the events' Restaurant Row- offering attendees plates of what can truly be described as 'the finest food in Missouri'.

Taste of St. LouisMeanwhile, on the Culinary Stage, area top chefs compete for the title of Taste of St Louis Culinary Champion.

The Art and Wine Walk gives patrons the opportunity to sample fine wine while experiencing fine art.

At the Main Stage, attendees will experience a wide variety of free, high quality entertainment ranging from high brow classical- to grass roots rock and roll. A Kids Kitchen offers top notch, unique family entertainment continuously. A new addition to the Budweiser Taste of St. Louis – The Goose Island School of Cooking Stage, powered by L'Ecole Culinaire –hosts educational and entertaining culinary demonstrations from local and national chefs and culinary and beverage experts.

Intimate showcases enhanced by audience interaction include food and beer pairings, special culinary techniques and celebrity chef appearances. Audience members receive a special opportunity to sample the dish made during the showcase - along with the suggested beer pairing for an unparalleled culinary experience.

Awards received in the last few years include Favorite Family Event by the St. Louis Post Dispatch Readers' Poll, the prestigious Vincent J. Bommarito Award and AAA Best of the Midwest 2010. Taste also received media attention for the event's greening efforts which resulted in a 65% waste diversion from landfills and for the first ever major deployment of Square - a smart-phone based credit card application.
