Description:

The glorious taco will finally get the attention it has long deserved when the tortilla-wrapped fave gets the spotlight treatment at Chicago's Taco Fest set to return this fall for its third year. After all, everyone (and we do mean everyone) loves tacos!

Whether one prefers theirs with a hard or soft shell and filled with a meat, fish, chicken, guacamole or one of dozens of imaginative ingredients, this September happening definitely raises the bar for the Windy City's outdoor street fest scene.

Approximately 18 of Chicago's top taco restaurants / stands offer their specialty taco recipes, while Sam Adams pairs their many delicious beers with these creative delights. The audience is invited to text their vote for Chicago's Best Taco- crowning the winner with the coveted title.

This early Autumn event features big name, national entertainment from it's Main Stage which operates continually throughout the Fest, and features authentic Mexican wrestling demonstrations intermittently throughout the festival.

Held in the epicenter of the demographically hot Southport Corridor, in addition to food and music Taco Fest Chicago will feature fine arts & crafts and plenty of fun activities for kids and families.

This event is packed from the moment it opens to its final closing moments. It is one of the very last events of Chicago’s festival season, and is rapidly becoming an icon.
