Overview:
There is no other event on this planet quite like the Red Neck & Golf Cart Rally in South Georgia. Visualize a huge, loud and lively motorcycle rally mind- insert modified and souped -up golf carts for motorcycles- and you'll have an idea of what this event is like.
The specific demographic we label as 'South Georgia Rednecks' is a bit tongue in cheek- but not entirely. There is a certain segment of the deep south population that simply LOVES TO PARTY!! These self-styled 'Red Necks' are actually gainfully employed, middle class, educated, mostly men- who have one talent in common- the fine art of having (and inventing) fun.
Fun loving people tend to gravitate to each other- which is the reason the South Georgia Red Neck & Golf Cart Rally was created. It's a three-day Red Neck paradise celebrating 'all things red neck' including the latest craze- souped-up, modified gold carts.
The event offers up three days of live southern rock and country music, a golf cart rally, golf cart games and a parade, a wide variety of southern red neck food offerings, and more than 100 merchandise vendors offering everything from golf cart accessories to leather goods to tattoos- anything and everything that appeals to the South Georgia Red Neck.
Attendees are encouraged to camp on the grounds for the weekend.
