The start of the new baseball season, and the legendary Chicago Cubs, are in the celebratory spotlight at Race to Wrigley.
This 5K Run/Walk takes place around (and even through!) iconic Wrigley Field. The stadium serves as both the Start and the Finish line of a course route that winds its way through the historic Wrigleyville neighborhood.
10,000 runners are expected to participate in the event, cheered on by a very large crowd of enthusiastic spectators. The event raises more than $300,000 for charity.
Chicago Cubs Charities is the beneficiary of all sponsorship and race registration fees, while all personal fundraising proceeds benefit the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
