Westfield Old Orchard, in the upscale North Shore area of Chicagoland, has been the home of the North Shore Festival of Art for the last 27 years welcoming more than 80,000 art lovers and shoppers over two days in July.
The North Shore Festival of Art is juried, showcasing the art of hand-picked artists and artisans from all over the USA. Visitors see and can purchase original art created by talented painters, photographers, sculptors, potters, jewelry makers, furniture makers, and more.
Although art is the events centerpiece, there are plenty of other components to keep visitors entertained and engaged all day long. There are daily wine tasting sessions designed to appeal to Millennials and Gen X, there is a Kid's Zone under a big tent with interactive art-themed activities for the whole family, and artist demonstrations for the interested and curious. Food and beer are also important components. Food selections provided by at least six of Old Orchard's most popular restaurants are a big draw.
North Shore Festival of Art is a perfect way of targeting a large crowd of upscale Millennials and GenX in a relaxed and friendly environment.
