Overview:

Wine, great music, fine art and local culinary fare will take center stage when the Lincoln Park Wine Festival is staged in Jonquil Park. Modeled, in part, after the 12-year-old Wine Crush in Old Town (which is no longer held), it creates an opportunity to attract a unique urban audience interested in wine and culinary treats.

It is designed to be an antithesis to the average city music festival with its usual loud music and beer. In stark contrast to Chicago-style street festivals, the Lincoln Park Wine Festival is a 'white glove' event that reflects the tastes of the area's upscale, educated, white collar, high income demographics.

This event transforms the park into an open-air market, in the European style, featuring tasteful pavilions offering wine tastings and culinary pairings. The event features a fine arts area, where local artisans offer hand crafted and unique merchandise
